Solving The Scene...

Kaitlin and Annie...

Characters:

Kaitlin

Kaitlin is a 23 years old British woman, who currently lives in London. She is a brunette. She is medium height and skinny. She has green-hazel eyes. Kaitlin has the ability to read other peoples mind. Her greatest flaw is her constant craving for the cereal Lucky Charms. She works as a crime detective at a police station.

Annie 

Annie is her best friend. She is also 23 and works with her at the station. Annie has blonde hair and blue eyes. She is tall. She cannot read other peoples mind. Still she is really intelligent and is really good at finding and following clues. Annie’s tragic flaw is that when anyone says “swiper no swiping” three times she will forget everything she did for the past five minutes.

Kaitlin is very different from Annie. Annie wears really casual outfits, like jeans and a T-shirt. She likes to accessorize, adding different shoes and jewlery; like a necklace. On the other hand Kaitlin has a style that is more vouge. She is verry classy and elegant.

It Is Just Like... Tablets IX and X

At the beginig of tablet IX, Gilgamesh says that he would seek Utnapishtim, because he was the only man who might be able to tell him how death could be avoided. This reminded me of a story someone told me. In the story there was a man, and he was warned by death that he would die in three days. The man got scared. He thought that death was trying to give him a warning so he could find a way to avoid it. Then the man went on a journey to find a king. This king was the only one who could tell him how death could be avoided. When he got there the king was  actually death, and the man died. I do not really remember the end that well but I believe it went like that.

 Later on when he passes through the mountain it reminded me of one of the Percy Jackson books. a girl called Zoe is telling a story about a mountain that she and her sisters garded, they had to protect a lion skin, but Zoe helped Hercules get it, she helped him get through the mountain. Just like the beast let Gilgamesh go in.

After this Gilgamesh is passing through the waters of death, with a man on a little boat. This reminds me of Hercules. It is like when Hades gets on the boat and passes with the "boat guide" through the water. In this water there are souls of the dead, so it is like "the waters of death".

Superpowers After...

If I had a superpower, I would probably choose teletransportation. I think that being able to Teletransport yourself would be really cool. You could be able to go from one place to another in seconds even if it were on the other side of the world.

If I could teletransport myself I would probably use this as an excuse to get up later in the mornings and be able to get to school on time. Also I would teletransport myself to a movie theater or to some other place if I couldn’t sleep at night.

I wonder if with teletransportation you are able to move things closer to you or for example if you are sitting down and you need a book that is across the room you could bring it to you by just teletansporting it to you. I would defiantly do that in some ocacions.

 

Superpowers Before....

Tablets IV And V My Thoughts, Comments And Questions...

I found a connection with my personal life and the book. I believe that the interpretation of dreams, the reading of the aura and the reading of the hands is a very interesting thing. Many believe it is all fake, but I think it is very fascinating. A friend of mine studied the reading of hands and the interpretation of dreams and how to analyze them. Sometimes I tell her my dreams like Gilgamesh did to Enkidu. And just like he did she interprets them. I find the subject very intriguing; I always wondered what everything meant and how people could interpret dreams. Also one time she read my hand which was very interesting.

I wonder what will happen now that Huwawa is dead. What will happen with Enkidu’s and Gilgamesh’s relationship? Will they go on more quests or challenges/missions together? Will something happen with Enlil and the other gods? What did Huwawa mean when he said that when Enlil heard of his death there would be a curse?

S.O.S Dolphin!

This is my favorite picture. From the picture I can infer that this dolphin was hurt in some way, and therefore was being rescued.I can also infer that the dolphin is a new born because of its size.Another thing I can infer from the picture is that this person is taking the dolphin to a vet so he can check the dolphin and make sure it's doing okay.
